What Happens After You Book?
Once you complete your payment, you’ll be redirected to schedule your first session using our online calendar. You’ll also receive a confirmation email with everything you need to get started.

You Might Be Asking...
What if I have a birth class or doula already?
If you’re enrolled in a childbirth class, these sessions are a great companion. We’ll take what you’re learning and apply it directly to your birth—your location, preferences, partner dynamic, and concerns.
If you already have a birth doula, they should be walking you through this kind of preparation in your prenatal sessions. If that support isn’t part of your doula care—or if you’re unsure—you may want to clarify with them first.
These sessions are not intended to duplicate what a full birth doula should already be offering. If you're looking for a doula, I'm currently accepting a limited number of full support clients. Feel free to reach out: doula@nurtureandflow.com
Can my partner or support person join the sessions?
Yes—please bring them! These sessions are designed to help both of you feel more prepared. One session can be focused specifically on their role in birth, communication, and advocacy.
What if I’m not due for a few months? Or really soon?
The Groundwork Sessions work whether you’re early in pregnancy or approaching your due date. You’ll get a clear, strategic plan either way—and I’ll make sure it’s tailored to your timeline.
Can I apply this toward full doula care later?
Absolutely. If you choose to hire me for full birth support later, we’ll credit your Groundwork payment toward that package.
Is this refundable if my plans change?
I don’t offer refunds—but I do offer flexibility. You can reschedule with notice, and if something unexpected comes up, we’ll work together to find the best next step
