Rooted in community. Guided by experience.

Meet Andrea

Andrea is a mother, yogi, and second-generation birth worker whose path into this work began long before it became her profession.

Raised around birth workers and community care, she grew up watching families support one another through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. That foundation continues to shape her approach today—care that is steady, relationship-based, and deeply respectful of each family’s lived experience.

Before becoming a full-time doula, Andrea spent over a decade in advocacy and human-centered work as a consultant, facilitator, and strategist in diversity, equity, and inclusion spaces. That background informs the way she supports families navigating medical systems, major life transitions, and the emotional shifts that come with becoming a parent.

Today, she continues her clinical training as a student midwife while supporting families across Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and throughout California.

Care built on autonomy, consent, and preparation.

 Andrea’s philosophy is simple:

Autonomy over authority

Consent over assumption

Preparation over panic

Community
over perfection

Her role is not to make decisions
for you. Her role is to help you understand your options, trust your instincts, and move through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with clarity
and confidence. This is care that is calm, thoughtful, and deeply personal, never rushed, never performative, and always centered around your experience.

Real experiences from the families she’s supported.

Families often share that working with Andrea helped them:

  • Learn their rights in the hospital setting

  • Stay calm and focused during labor

  • Feel prepared without overwhelm

  • Recover at a steady, supported pace postpartum

  • Have someone available who genuinely cared

Her clients describe her as:

“A steady presence who helped us feel confident in every decision.”

“The reason I felt calm, informed, and supported the entire time.”

“An incredible educator who made birth feel less overwhelming.”

If you’re looking for steady, knowledgeable support, you’re in the right place.

Whether you’re preparing for your first baby or navigating a new chapter in your parenting journey, you deserve care that feels grounded, respectful, and clear.

The next step is simply a conversation.
